Day 12: A Script Set In Your Pre-Teens
To That Friday Feeling Creators!
We're nearly two weeks in and I have just about managed to deliver every day so far - so let's roll on!
Today's script was supposed to be 'set in my pre-teens' but IMHO more often than not it is our actual teen years that contain the juiciest, and most formative tales that shape us and if I'm perfectly frank, the first idea that surfaced from my early decades when considering todays script - is the one you're about to read.
Once again I must make clear that this story has been exaggerated for the purposes of enjoyable reading - particularly one that is so autobiographical in nature that the characters and events within could land me in trouble had I not made very deliberate efforts to hide core details and names that may offend or upset people who may recognise themselves in the events.
There isn't really a strong end to this, or narrative thread, but again - the underlying details of the situation and importance of it to me must remain fairly vague in order to protect the guilty!
Rest assured, most of this is true, and it still remains one of the most enjoyable excursions of my youth!
So here's to a great evening! The Opposite of Theft!
