Day 18: A Script Set in The Year You Were Born
I have failed.
Let it be known - the 18th June was the day I broke and failed to write or even upload something!
Truthfully, as stated before - I've been working from home the last fortnight and the time to write has been almost non-existent and I'm starting to burn out because of it. Also, I got distracted yesterday with the Animorphs movie news - given day 15's script upload it just seemed a freaky co-incidence! And yes...I spent a few hours fan girling - but since the MCU is probably going to suck now, this and Dune is literally all I have to look forward to.
So with work, personal stuff, lack of time and running on fumes, I finally faltered -but I'm going to try and get back on the wagon - although I need to crack on with a feature I'm writing and now can't really afford for this to interfere with that - priorities have to be straight and disciplined!
So in order to try and cheat and catch up with myself, today's script (although technically yesterday....day 18 dammit!) will be a final draft of a previous day's upload. Day 11 in fact.
Although the final draft of A Kiss is Just A Kiss doesn't have a specified year, I'm going to say it's 1987 - I have the power to do that. I'm the writer. It doesn't differ from much from the previous upload, it's just edited to be tighter and meet the page count required for the assessment the film students were going to use it for before Captain Trips got unleashed on the world and we all to stay in doors.
Anyway, enjoy - or don't even read - you've already read it after all!
