Day 9: A Script That Makes You Happy

Good Evening Writing Enthusiasts!

A late upload today as working from home now means this is going to get difficult for me.

I must admit, I didn't put much thought or effort into todays script for reasons associated with the above, and so struggled to find something 'worth smiling about.'

The barest inspiration for this script, was the fact that I've been listening to the soundtracks of epic video game series Mass Effect a lot this week, and so naturally it's been on my mind. Thus my thoughts turned to a particular occasion where I ventured out into horrendous whether to pick up my eagerly awaited copy of Mass Effect: Andromeda. The warm feeling of contentment as I arrived home, got dry and cozy and first put the disc in was such a simple moment of pleasure, that it puts a smile on my face thinking about it now.

I took that idea, and exaggerated a little. There isn't really much story to this, or anything particularly challenging - but I hope the ending, and Matt's reward for his troubles, make you feel as warm and content as I did.
